Robert Obrzud, PhD, LL.M.

Legal counsel, assistant in the Department of Commercial Law and Private International Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdansk

Robert Obrzud graduated law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdansk. He also graduated from the School of German Law at the University of Gdansk organized in collaboration with the University of Cologne. He is also a graduate of postgraduate Master’s Degree in German law at the Faculty of Legal Sciences of the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, where he earned a degree Magister Legum (LL.M). He is the grant beneficiary of the Hesse Bar Foundation (Stiftung der Hessischen Rechtsanwaltschaft).

He completed legal training at the Gdańsk Bar Association.

He gained experience in law firms in Gdansk and Frankfurt. He also worked at the Austrian Consulate in Gdansk.

He specializes in commercial law, commercial companies law, private international law, transport and shipping law and Insolvency and restructuring law.

He speaks German and English.

Dr. Arkadiusz Wowerka, LL.M.

Lawyer, Associate Professor in the Department of Commercial Law and Private International Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdansk

Arkadiusz Wowerka PhD graduated law at the Faculty of Law and Administration from University of Gdansk. He is a graduate of the German Law School, as well as a two-year postgraduate Master’s Degree in German law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Cologne, where he received a degree Magister Legum (LL.M).

Arkadusz Wowerka PhD pursued numerous academic traineeships at reputable foreign research centres and participated in many domestic and international conferences.

He specializes in commercial law, especially in company law and contract law and in private international law. He is the author of numerous publications of national and international commercial law and private international law.

Arkadiusz Wowerka PhD is also the state-registered translator of German language and translator of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

He speaks German and English.

Agata Jaś

Trainee advocate

Agata Jaś graduated law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Gdansk. Ms Jaś graduated from the School of German Law at the University of Gdansk, which was organized in collaboration with the University of Cologne. She graduated also from the British School of Law organized by the University of Cambridge.

Ms Jaś is currently undergoing professional training at the Regional Bar Chamber in Gdansk to qualify as an advocate. She gained professional experience in law firms in Gdansk and Frankfurt.

She specializes in commercial companies law, maritime law, labour law, litigation and arbitration.

She speaks English and German.
